What is Film Solano?
Founded in 2024, Film Solano is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting film production in Solano County, California.
Formerly known as Film Mare Island, we’ve supported over 50 productions since 2016—driving an estimated $75 million in local economic impact, with an additional $65 million in neighboring counties.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to attract filmmakers, provide industry resources, and stimulate local economic growth through the power of cinema. As the bridge between the community and the film industry, we:

Offer location scouting & permit assistance
Partner with government, businesses, & schools to build a film-friendly environment
Host workshops, events, & networking opportunities
